Nathan Yung ‘18 is a senior who will be graduating with academic honors this spring. He is a three sport athlete who plays football, basketball, and high jumps on the track team. Nathan says that through his participation in athletics he has developed strong social skills and leadership abilities that making him a reliable individual and a great team member. Along with athletics, Nathan is also involved in his high school’s theatre company, as well as a member of his church’s youth group. Being involved with so many different groups and activities has given Nathan time management skills, and also the ability to take on multiple task, which he thinks will transfer over into college, and other areas of life. In the summer Nathan works with his dad, who is a business owner of a home improvement company. Through waking up at five in the morning to go to basketball workouts and then going to work right after Nathan has had strong work ethic ingrained into his moral fiber. When given a task he always gives his best effort, and doesn’t quit until the job is done. After high school Nathan plans to attend college at Indiana or Ball state and get his degree in Business Administration. Nathan hopes to use skills he has learned in Startup Moxie, his efficient working skills, and motivated personality to better his education, career, and his surrounding community.
