Kelly Horvath

Kelly Horvath is an active senior at John Adams High School, where she has participated in many clubs and activities including, but not limited to, Theatre, Ultimate Frisbee, Art Club, and Mental Health Awareness Group. Outside of school, she has gone to many volunteer weekends, helped at a children’s summer camp, and worked at a local restaurant for two years. Juggling all of these activities, while maintaining a solid academic standing, have taught Kelly time management and setting priorities for what will have the most positive outcome in her life as well as others.

In contrast to her often chaotic schedule, Kelly likes to find time to slow down and pursue her true passion; self expression. Through visual art, poetry, song writing, and much more, she has learned that self expression in any healthy form is the best way to keep a clear mind through the fast-paced world we live in today. She has participated in South Bend’s very own Art Beat festival and is looking for more ways to get involved in the community. Her goal is to empower others with the lessons she has learned to spread love and self-confidence to those who might not find it otherwise.
