Jake is a senior at Mishawaka High School who has been passionate about Startup Moxie from the start. He loves talking to people and connecting with others so he knew Startup Moxie was the place for him. Jake values communication and getting to know others. He plans to use this passion and value of his by pursuing a career in professional sales.
In his spare time Jake is a member of National Honor Society and Junior Kiwanis representative. Jake also is on both the Football and Wrestling teams where he has earned four scholar athlete awards and three varsity letters. He was also selected first team academic all state for wrestling in the 2015-16 season. One of Jake’s hidden passions is his love for golf and he plans on trying out for the team this spring. While participating in these activities Jake has learned crucial teamwork and skills in compassion.
One of Jake’s most vital core values is respect. Jake is adamant about people treating one another with respect. This value has taught him to respect others because he knows how he would like to be treated. Jake uses this value daily in Startup Moxie, school, and extracurriculars.
Other things he enjoys in his free time are watching football, hanging out with his friends by the fire, hunting, fishing, and playing the drums. In the summers Jake works at Not Just a Garden Center in Mishawaka. Jake has a knack for talking to people and loves communicating. He plans on attending IU for college with hopes of getting into the Kelley School of Business.
