Determined.  Ambitious. And not afraid of a challenge. When Emily has a passion, she runs right towards it, proving to everyone that she can do what everywhere she puts her heart and mind too. Balancing all of her activities that she involves herself in has taught her some important skills: to not just talk about it and to do it and to always find a better way to prosper in the future.  

Emily has a practical mind that allows them to tackle and solve complex problems that leaves others completely stumped. Growing up with strong family background, from the start Emily knew that she was going to do incredible things. Her culture and her background of the Philippines Islands affected a lot of Emily’s passion, including singing, storytelling and cooking; these skills and traits connect her from where her family come from, even though she is the first to be born in America. She hopes that Startup Moxie can help spread and cultivate her  hometown.  Having an impact on children’s’ lives has always been apart of Emily’s mission and has influenced her future.
