Emily Kim is a senior at Marian High School. She is an international student from South Korea. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the United States to study abroad when she was 17 years old. She is a member of Quiz Bowl and enrolled in National Honor Society. She is also a writer of LANCE a school newspaper, that shares different cultures between South Korea and the United States. She is an only child in her family, and she and her mom are best friends. She enjoys traveling and challenging new things. She is interested in international trade and international relations and looking forward to studying business with international studies at university.  God and family are what Emily values most.
