As a high school student attending Mishawaka Marian, I am currently enrolled in the Startup Moxie program along with various extracurricular activities such as the National Honors Society. I am a calm, dependable, and collected person that likes to take on big challenges. I like to try new things that are outside of my comfort zone and being a quick learner helps. My desire to be challenged led me to join a research class last year where I had the opportunity to work at the Hessert laboratory at Notre Dame University. Over a seven month time period, I worked as an intern and aided in the research of airplane engine icing. I also took a year long youth leadership course that gave me valuable skills in communicating, leading, and working with others. Come next school year, I hope to be studying business at either Notre Dame or Purdue University.
